Funding
Since 2005 the Board of Directors established funding priorities, initiated a request for proposal process, and distributed almost $753,000 to organizations meeting the health and welfare needs of Southern Chester County residents. The Foundation continues to administer several restricted funds established previously.
The Alma Newlin Scholarship Fund has provided in the past six years alone over $447,000 in scholarships for outstanding qualified local students entering or furthering their education in a healthcare-related field.
